THE PMF EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME

ELIGIBILITY

• Students admitted/seeking admission for professional, nursing (diploma & degree) or postgraduate courses in reputed colleges, universities and institutions in India with the goal of acquiring a professional career are eligible to apply. The minimum requirement for any applicant is his/her successful completion of the higher secondary board examination, i.e. plus two or equivalent, with a minimum score of 60% or above (in the relevant subjects for graduation in the case for postgraduate students). Those  expecting the said level of success in the last examination also can apply.

• Assistance will be available only to those who are availing educational loans.

• The Educational Assistance will be to cover 75% of tuition and related fees (which include boarding and books allowance) subject to a maximum loan amount of Rs.50,000/- each year, for the entire duration of the chosen course/programme plus one year as grace period or until remuneratively employed whichever is earlier.

• The Assistance will be paid quarterly to the Bank by cheque.

• Disbursement of funds from 2nd year onwards will be subject to the periodic submission of the candidate’s Academic Progress Report.

PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION

The application form should be type-written and sent by post or E.Mail together with all the supporting documents to reach the office of the Foundation at the latest by the last date fixed.
